About Us
Welcome

We are a church that is all about the great commission! No religious politics, just people doing the work of the ministry by the grace and anointing of God. Our number one priority is to see lives changed through the finished work of Calvary and we believe there is no person that God cannot change. If your looking for a radical church that believes in real ministry to real people, a church where the truth is not compromised and people are loved no matter where they have come from, then Relevate Church should be your next stop!

Our Vision

At Relevate Church our vision is to be a people passionate for His presence having a message that is relevant so as to revolutionize lives and to be real people with real answers for real life demonstrating the real love of Jesus.

Our History

Relevate Church was established September 21, 2008 by Pastor Lance Johnson under the name of City Church. The first Service was held at the Cherokee County Arts Center in Canton GA. and after two short years moved to 200 North Street in Downtown Canton and one and a half years later purchased an 18 acre church campus at 999 Jep Wheeler Road, Woodstock GA in the Hickory Flat Community. It was at this location that the church changed it's name from City Church to Relevate Church.

We Believe

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God.  We believe in His substitutionary death for all men, His resurrection, and His eventual return to judge the world.

We believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that the finished work of calvary was to redeem man from the power of sin.  We believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it.

We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Trinity. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the gifts of the Spirit.

We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.

We believe that every man is the steward of his life and resources which ultimately belong to God.  We believe that tithing is a measure of obedience to the scriptural principles of stewardship.

We believe in the need for a local assembly of believers for the purpose of evangelism and edification.

We believe in the worship of the Lord through singing, clapping, dancing and the lifting of hands.

We believe that evangelism is the responsibility of every believer. The Lord commands us to go out and make disciples of all nations.

We believe in the ordinance of water baptism by immersion and all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior should be baptized in water as a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life.
